How music reaches us?
The Butterfly Playlist started as a possible response and alternative to the
satellite system that provides music to common spaces (
restaurants, sports centres, shops, hotel lobbies...).
The work consisted of a musical playlist informed by people I met during a residency at the Banff centre (Canada), the temporary replacement of music sent by the satellite signal with a
broadcast of ‘butterfly playlist’ and a public conversation about the question that initially started
this project.
